1921

Born in 1904, René Lacoste wins his first tournament at age of 17 and the French Open for the first time in 1924. The press notes his perfectionist approach and predicts a player of great class.

1991

Fifty-nine years after the victory of the Musketeers, the Lacoste sponsored French team wins the Davis Cup. Five years later the team wins its eighth title at Malmö, Sweden.
