Sébastien Grosjean beat Netherland's Robin Haase (4-6, 6-4, 6-0, 6-7, 6-4) in the second round of the Australian Open, he will face USA's James Blake in the next round. On the other side, this is the end of the road for Fabrice Santoro outplayed by Roger Federer (6-1, 6-2, 6-0), Camille Pin who closely lost to Venus Williams (7-5, 6-4) and Alizé Cornet, defeated by the number 9 seed, Daniela Hantuchova (6-2, 7-5).
