Nathalie Dechy has reached the second round of the Open Gaz de France, in Paris. The Lacoste champion beat China's Shuai Peng in straight sets (6-4, 7-6) and will face a strong opponent in the second round, the number one seed, Russia's Anna Chakvetadze.
