Great piece of merchandise, but I ended up returning the item. The issue here is with the refund process after I returned it, however. I purchased the item in-store, and had it shipped to my address. I was told both by the store clerk AND a corresponding email from LaCoste, that I would receive my refund to my card in 3-5 business days from when it was received by LaCoste. I received this email on 5/22, and had yet to receive the refund to my account. I then call the number on the website and was told that because I paid for it in-store, that they should’ve been the ones to refund me, and I was told from the store that I would just receive the refund 3-5 business days from when it is received—from me shipping it back. It is now June 3rd, and I was just told by a rep online that they will notify the store that my item was returned. I am not sure where it was lost in translation that I should have my refund, because the item was received by LaCoste. Hopefully there is better communication from the online store to the actual in-person stores in the future because this was a negative experience that I am not too sure wouldn’t happen again. Why did the store not refund me upon receiving the product back? Does the online store always have to inform them when someone returns a product through mail? Was buying in-store but receiving through mail a special case LaCoste was not prepared for? I doubt it because the in-store rep told me that she could do this for me as if this is done often for customers. Regardless, I still will continue to give my business to LaCoste because I do admire your merchandise, and this is an isolated incident. I just think steps should be taken to ensure that there is no more disconnect between purchases made in-store, shipped to home address, and returned. Someone has to inform the store that the returned item has been received and a refund can then be initiated. I’m assuming this is normally the case, but maybe something was missed with me. Thank you

Unfortunately my package was lost but the Lacoste company has been more than helpful in dealing with the problem by offering a reshipment/refund. A very nice lady named Terri has been especially exceptional. I recommend products from this company because the products are quality and the staff are diligent in helping their customers. Five stars all the way!
