The new Lacoste Underwear campaign
With Taylor Zakhar Perez
Lacoste unveils its new Lacoste Underwear campaign, once again featuring American actor Taylor Zakhar Perez.
The story continues between Lacoste and Taylor
For the second year running, Taylor Zakhar Perez lends his acting talent to the Lacoste Underwear campaign. A long-term collaboration that began in January 2025, and that is reimagined with a new story with vintage influences. One that remains resolutely modern.
A stellar cast for a bold campaign
Under the creative direction of photographer Angelo Pennetta, director Simon Cahn, and stylist Jason Bolden, Taylor Zakhar Perez reveals a more intimate side of himself in a Parisian gym, at the heart of a space more than familiar to athletes: the locker room. Through precise, authentic imagery, in a film that blends aesthetics with humor, and silhouettes rooted in both fashion and heritage, this new campaign pushes the brand’s creativity even further.

The actor opens up in an exclusive interview, just for you…
In your opinion, what aspects of your personality explain why you represent the Lacoste man so well?
I'm wired to see the bright side and go all-in on what matters, and Lacoste mirrors that energy. The brand brings a sense of optimistic elegance and sporting tenacity that instantly clicked with my own outlook.
In this new campaign, you wear several looks. Which outfit was your favorite?
All of them ! The looks were carefully built to make sure they represented both the brand's DNA and my own personal style. I just love wearing the brand, it's timeless, elegant, yet with an edge to it. The underwear is always comfortable and goes with (or without) anything.
The campaign takes place in a locker room. As an athlete, tell us what’s going through your mind when you walk into and out of the locker room.
The locker room entrance is like flipping a switch: focus sharpens, excitement builds, there’s this low hum of tension in your muscles. Coming back through the door after a strong session flips it again... relief, pride, real joy. You feel accomplished, like you earned every second of it.
What kind of athlete are you? Competitive? Focused? Fair-play? Do you have a routine?
I’m competitive, but it’s mostly with myself. Growing up, my dad always said the real battle is against who you were yesterday, beat that guy, and the rest takes care of itself. That mindset drives me. I’m intensely focused; underperforming stings because I expect a lot from myself, though I’ve learned to see those moments as part of the process. As for routine, I keep it simple and sustainable: one hour daily of functional football training: mobility work, strength, and movement drills. I listen to my body over ego, never just trying to lift more than the next person.
The campaign showcases your dancing skills and your passion for music. What role does music play in your life?
You're so generous calling my dancing "skilled," but I will take the compliment. Music has shadowed me since childhood: from halting piano scales on our old upright, to blasting CDs through my Walkman while mowing the lawn, to turning a friend’s dim basement into a private rave with Sandstorm on repeat and a borrowed camcorder filming gloriously terrible music videos. Even now, certain tracks can still yank me straight back to being 12 and transport me.
