LACOSTE LIVE X JONONE

There are many monuments in the world of street art. But this is a living legend! Ever since the 1980s and the explosion of graffiti as an art form, JonOne has seen and done it all. He started on the streets, accused of vandalism - like many other pioneers - but today his work is promoted in prestigious galleries. Living in Paris for the past three decades, 52 year old JonOne recently completed a painting assignment for the French National Assembly and was also recently honored with the prestigious Legion of Honor. For the Fall-Winter 2015 season, JonOne worked with Lacoste Live on an exclusive capsule collection, giving the iconic crocodile an authentic urban makeover.

BEWARE OF THE WET PAINT

In anticipation of the special capsule collection he created with Lacoste Live, JonOne opened the doors of his paint-splattered art studio in Les Lilas district North-East of Paris, where the radio was blaring and the walls lined with canvases. This is where JonOne spends most of his time. While adding the final touches to the works destined for his next exhibit, he described – in an American accent to boot - his recent collaboration with Lacoste Live.
