Our Preferred Raw Materials, Selected with Care

Guided by demanding requirements, we carefully select our raw materials and ensure full traceability throughout the supply chain. They are recycled, sourced from regenerative or organic farming, or produced with respect for animal welfare.

OUR COTTON, NOMINATED COTTON™

Not just any cotton. Ours. This natural material has been at the heart of every Lacoste collection since 1933, which is why we hold it to the most demanding requirements. Drawing on our expertise, we developed our cotton, Nominated Cotton™, a selection of fibers that allows us to create high-quality pieces while ensuring practices that care for both people and our environment.

We carefully select each of the farms we partner with in Australia, Greece, Peru and the United States, working closely with farmers to grow cotton that meets rigorous farming practices.

Drawing on nearly 100 years of expertise and know-how in cotton, we set demanding quality requirements to create products made to last over time.

VERIFIED AND MONITORED SOCIAL CONDITIONS

Social practices are at the heart of our requirements. We ensure that fair working conditions are strictly upheld on the farms we select by commissioning independent third-party organizations to conduct regular audits.

ON THE PATH TO REGENERATIVE AGRICULTURE

Our commitment also reflects our ambition to support farming practices that promote soil regeneration and biodiversity. That is why we work with our partners in a process of continuous improvement, with the goal of sourcing 100% of our Nominated Cotton™ cotton from regenerative agriculture by 2028.
