LACOSTE, INVENTOR OF THE POLO SHIRT

At the end of the 1920s, René Lacoste cut the sleeves off his shirt for greater freedom of movement on the tennis court. The champion's revolutionary, non-regulatory attire was the starting point for an invention that would conquer the world: the polo shirt.
