Malbon Golf

Founded in 2017 by culture and golf enthusiasts Stephen and Erica Malbon, Malbon Golf is a lifestyle brand inspired by the game of golf. Their mission is to inspire today’s youth to participate in, what they state is “the greatest game on Earth”. Malbon Golf joins us as our second partnership for Ode to LA, exclusively at Lacoste Melrose Place.

Explain what Malbon Golf is and what inspired you to start the company?

We started Malbon Golf organically and it sort of naturally evolved into what it is today. Once we designed the buckets logo and it resonated with both golfers and non players we knew we had something.

How is Malbon Golf an integrated part of the LA Community?

The LA community were early adopters of Malbon Golf because Los Angelenos are some of the more creative, stylish and active people who are always seeking out brands that reflect their lifestyle.


What’s your favorite part of being in LA?

The best part of being in LA is the weather. Sounds cliche but being able to play year round golf can't be beat.

How do you see Malbon golf expanding to other areas?

Malbon Golf is a lifestyle brand that is looking to inspire today's youth to play the greatest sport on the earth. When we look at designing a new season of apparel or hard goods we always put it through the Malbon Golf filter which allows us to create products in and outside the box.

When asked to partner with Lacoste, what was your first thought?

The idea of linking up the heritage of Lacoste with the unmistakable branding and playful curation of Malbon Golf felt like a natural fit.
